Today, Information Technology is very important in our live. Most of people in the whole world used the Information Technology for their activity. It’s caused, Information Technology can make our live become happiness and easiest. For example, We can buy something like book, car, furniture  from a store in the whole word used the internet. Beside that, we can know what is happened in the whole world every minute used TV or Internet.

Most of people have opinion that, Information Technology is same as Internet Network. But this opinion is wrong, and the right opinion is the Internet is parts or branches of  Information Technology. So, Information Technology is more higher than Internet.

A.     Definition Of Information Technology

Information Technology (IT), as defined by ITAA (Information Technology Association Of America), is “The study, design, development, implementation, support or management of computer based information system, particularly software applications and computer hardware”. Today, the term Information Technology has ballooned to encompass many aspects of computing and technology, and the term has become very recognizable. When the computer and communications technologies are combined, the result is Information Technology or “Infotech”. Information Technology is a general term that describes any technology that helps to produce, manipulate, store, communicated Iinformation.

 

B.     The Effects Of Information Technology

Nowdays, Information Technology have been changed life style all of people in the world. Most of them said, “The world become smaller”. They can speak with their partners every where and every time used hand phone, internet, and another communications tools. We know that, Information Technology have good and bad effects.

b.      The bad effects of Information Technology:

ü Information Technology can make juvenile delinquency are increased every year.

ü The security of computer data is more dangerous, it’s caused by some worm / viruses.

ü The distribution of worm / virus more quickly.

There are many effects of Information Technology. The good effects of Information Technology can changed our life style become more modern. Beside that, Information Technology have the bad effects, so we must eliminated the bad effects of it.

1.      The bad effects of Information Technology can’t be removed, but we must eliminate it.

2.      We must usually control our children when he / she used the internet.

3.      Give the explanation about the bad effect of Information Technology for our children.
